There's a mistake in the video. The switch actually activates the LOW CUT(Hi-Pass) filter not the HIGH CUT(Lo-Pass) filter. Good to have to get rid of outdoor/city noise and rumble

Premiere Elements is no where near Final Cut Pro, although Premiere Pro is closer to Final Cut Pro. Elements is more closer to iMovie or Final Cut Express. Express is still more advanced than Elements because Elements is just a cheap version Premiere Pro for home editing.

For green screening (or chroma keying) I would recommend Adobe After Effects or FxHome VisionLab Studio which is a cheap version of After Effects. I haven't used VisionLab much because I'm use to After Effcts, but it seems ok.

hey guys, NNN ftw ! so i been watching you guys on and off for about a year ! thanks for doing what you like to do, and doin it for free for me ! hope you guys get paid one day ! anyways, i got a question, i have about 10 hours of footage of my best friends band playing the local clubs, so have you heard of video demos from musicians and if so, can you show me what they consist of. I have an idea as to how I want to present these guys playing live, but your advice is priceless ! happy bday !

pick what THEY consider their greatest song and lay the studio recording of the track down and lay yr live footage over it. include crowd reactions or audience clamor, too. think of how music videos whip all over and use slo-mo or non-sequitur jumpcuts. include quick clips of them goofing around or practicing and shots taken outside elsewhere to humanize the band. lastly, try to imbue it with yr view of their artistry.

Mac is the way to go. Adobe Premier may be good, but I stick with Final Cut.

to be honest, there isnt much of a difference between premier and final cut. though i prefer the latter due to the little differences, if properly trained, any good film maker can make use of any editor...except for movie maker and imovie, those two suck and blow, movie maker more-so though:]
