Doug Aldrich...oh man. To me he is one of the "few" contemporay guitar players that still manage to preserve the essence of rock guitar playing. He's skilled as all hell, and anybody who plays a goldtop Les Paul as their main guitar is ok in my book! Saw him w/ Whitesnake not long ago...wow. The whole damn band still sounds amazing. Be sure to go see them if they come your way.
