@BreakingFeathers She is just a stray farm cat. When we went to buy our tractor, she had been abandoned beneath it. The sellers were just going to leave her to her fate and I couldn't stand by and let that happen. :)

I have a friend who collects cats that she find on the streets. She has around six now, some of them has never been taken home by their real owner so she adopted them and the others been bought at a cat home. every one of them are spayed or neuter.

It costs money to get them spayed my cat has just had 5 kittens and they will all be given to a good home and i will be getting her spayed after this! I think it is unfair how girl cats have to be spayed but people with boy cats don't bother to do anything about them!

Speaking as a cat foster parent, it is an extreme shame that people refuse to spay and neuter cats until long after there's a population explosion. These cute, adorable Babies are the lucky ones. The ones who aren't so lucky end up starving, freezing to death in winter or getting run over by cars. I do what I can to help, but those like myself are overmatched. Please do what you can to help insure that our Babies are all happy babies.

I had tons of kittens before and most of them without their mothers died or their mom won't nurse them anymore. I was wondering how do you make the formula?

It is called KMR by Pet-Ag. A veterinarian would have it. Many pet stores carry it. It is the complete nutrition that kittens require. It is a powder and you mix up only what you will need for one feeding at a time.

Our vet told us NOT to feed cow's milk (tho' it could be given in an emergency until one could purchase the powder the next day.)

I didn't know the odds until afterwards. ;) She was on a farm where we went to look at a tractor; they told us she was about two weeks old and the mama wasn't feeding her (and they weren't doing anything to help her, so what could we do but take her home and hope for the best?) Maybe she was older than they thought? Our vet thought she was about that age, but we'll never know for sure.

I found a kitten in Tel Aviv while on holiday, but I didn't know enough to save it and felt so upset when it died ( I was already to fly home with it back to Denmark..) It was powdered kitten milk replacer ("KMR") from the pet shop, on the advice of our veterinarian. In an emergency you can feed warmed cow's milk, but for no longer than 12 hours. Kittens this age need to be fed every 2 hours and also helped to relieve themselves (with a warm, wet paper towel gently rubbed on their bottoms until they go. Yuk.)

Firstly , I washed them by shampoo and water then I give them small parts of hot dog !!!

And I put a hot water in bottleful near the cats to help them to relieve themselves !!

I think what I did is very wrong !!!

im not sure if regular milk is harmful per se, but i know the replacer has the nutrients found in mother's milk, which they need
