  • Cool - thanks for putting this together :-)

  • My Doctor...

  • Wonderful actor Patrick Troughton - probably the best actor to have played the part and it's a shame that so many of his episodes are lost forever. We should have been enjoying the repeats ever since.

  • @randomdave30 yes I agree

  • @lerxt42 There should be a high-profile campaign to recover the lost episodes. Probably quite a few of them are languishing in private film collections in the UK

  • @randomdave30 There is! The Doctor Who Restoration Team have been trying to locate them, but sadly many will never be seen, as the master tapes were destroyed, and many stories were not seen abroad.

However, the last episode to be found was in 2004, when The Daleks' Masterplan Episode 2 was recovered. So there's always hope :)

If you are willing to look, many episodes were buried in rubbish tips around London. But the film would probably have deteriorated so it would be unwatchable :(

  • @kaledmasterme Patrick Troughton did well meeting the Cybermen, four times and it is a damn shame that only Tomb of the Cybermen is complete and the other black and white cyberstories are incomplete.

  • cool.
