Nonsense. He had a line, I new I was VERY likely to swim. When I got trapped I stayed in my boat for a little while then I swam down and out. I surfaced on the boil line, Sam bagged me and pulled me out. Job done.
@paddlemad Have you any quality stills from this descent? I'm looking for a few more interesting ones for a long overdue new edition of a book about the rivers of Wales! I never fancied ths one myself bcause of that hole! I hope you got out on the first circulation!
This descent is easier than it looks, it is just a case of keeping the boat straight - however, as you can see the *HOLE* ath the bottom of the chute is a keeper!
