The range of the knife lunge in MW2 is 128 units (opposed to 64 in MW1, W@W and Black Ops).

So you can knife over a long distance even without Commando.

By the way, Commando increases this range to 304 units

So I know hit marker is when ur bullet hit ur enemy but why is it sometime ppl use 1shot kill sniper gun n they only get hit marker n no kill and yet sometime they get the kill

@fpsisfun Its quite easy people think when you have a sniper + stoping power every hit is a kill but thats not it you need to hit the center of the part of the body of your enemy (wicked sentence xD) if you hit him not in the center of his arm for example you wont killhim, also this game has very messed up hit boxes when its lagging so it can seem that you hit him perfectly but you only get a hitmarker without a kill (hope its somewhat understandable and correct :P)
