  • Im sorry, but that didnt make since?? Explain.

  • Beautiful story! But isn't it sad that we need stories like this to value our old family members? In a competitive and materialistic culture as the one that prevails all over the world, getting old means being disposable! Nothing more wrong than that! Being old means being wiser and that wisdom is a valuable treasure!

  • Thank you for comment i totally agree.I was raised to cherish my family.Sad that many dont have those values, now seems like its all about me me me.

  • Hey Jolanda,Thank you for the comment,i finnally decided to share a little with my voice, not the best but o well, hehehe.Hope you have a great week.

  • In many cultures the elderly are respected and are taken care of in their last days. Here in America we dump them in a nursing home and convince ourselves they are better off there.

I think your title "Family how important is it" says it all. Thanks for posting this great story and thanks YemSom for sharing it.

  • A wonderful share ~

  • Thank you WindHarps for sharing.

  • Thank you,i agree, great comment and yes thank you to Yemsom for sharing, for some reason i cant seem to reply to her and others comments, but i do appreciate the comments, and sharing.

  • What a remarkable story, brought tears in my eyes. I even have a problem to see elderly people left in nursing homes. I believe it's my responsibility to take care of my elderly family members.

My mother became ill 9 years ago and lost her memories, the Doctor suggested to put her in a nursing home but I refused to do that, so I kept her under my care till the day she died 2 years ago.

Hope we can all learn from your story. Thanks.

    Much love to you.

  • This is a great story! thankyou for putting this video on youtube, it really makes me think!

  • Dont cry, lol,jk,hope you have a good weekend.

  • We should never take a human life for granted. Anyone of us might be in some unfortunate situation and who better to turn to than a family member, great message!

  • Great point i have been the helper and the helped,so it is nice to have a good family and friends around.

  • Touching story, my friend. Is dumping them in an old folks home any better than dumping them in the forest? I'm not so sure.

Although, I to have a little orthodox idea on what really she is family, I respect and appreciate its video, therefore in he makes them to reflect on the aged ones, to that I have respect and reverence, therefore for me, the OLD MAN IS the KING OF the ANIMALS.

  • A very nice reflection and was really happy to hear that he took his father back home. We should never have to die alone and probably wont if we are caring and giving individuals to not only family, but friends as well. Thank you for sharing this little story and a special thanks to my friend tuktukskagal for sharing with me. Mark

  • Thanks for your great comment Mark.I agree with you, many now a days dont treat the elderly like they should.

  • Heartwrending story. Thankyou so much for posting it.

  • Thank you so much for your message,i was a little worried about talking on youtube for the first time, but with people like you,and my friend tuktuk, and others...i fell good, sorry i dint get to your comment sooner, youtube dint let me answer, but you know,i got love for you.

  • It is such a sad reflection of our lives that we DONT care about older people:that their homes are shelters;cardboard

boxes;benches. This is their life.If you only stopped to listen;just 5 minutes;you can learn so much.We let the wisdom of age and experience slip through our fingers.

Each one of us is like a book. You turn a page to read more.

You find it interesting..and then there is...do you discard

the book or do you treasure it?.

  • Thank you tutuk, for understanding, you said it perfect in your comment.Thank you friend.

  • Beautiful video my dear friend. Thankyou so much for sharing it with me.

  • Glad you like it,thank you for the comment.

  • Thank you so much for sharing that touching story. I can't even imagine what families with that rule went through. I am sort of lost for words, like I have so much to say, yet speechless. I hope this video reaches all of the youth today, everyone in fact, so they may find compassion in their lost hearts and souls. Thank you again. :-)

  • Youre welcome, thank you for your comment.

  • I have heard this story before, and I hope I hear it again and again.

    Thanks!

  • OW,cool,i heard it a few years ago in Portugal.I wonder where it stared.

  • I have no idea, but the version I heard was told from a Native American standpoint.

  • That was immense. Wow.

  • Thank you,im glad you like it.
