You have to configure it at the Tankentai's battle system itself.

There's a script function in the battle system script in which you can call a script when using a skill etc. So if you combine a movie playing script and tankentai's system, you'll be able to call movies in battles, just like in this video.

Instructions provided in the script itself.

Hmm.. I kinda dont know how to fix that.. since it haven't actually happened to me.. try changing the video codecs.. (convert it to XVid codec or something)

My issue with this is that it adds unnecessary weight to the project (particularly the extra 10MB to 30MB each of your summons are going to add to the games filesize).

When designing games, you have a lot of things to take into consideration besides if it looks good or how well it plays.

Even the things such as the projects file size or how it's installed into the computer are issues you need to take into consideration.

Well no-one will play an RM game if it's purely RTP. By no-one, I mean people outside common RM communities.

Sure, you can say "It's for fun and learning" but in the end you want a lot of people to play your games, so spending that extra amount of time getting an artist (and perhaps the money to pay said artist) will go a long way in the end.

I am having trouble with the script for the video. When I get it to play, it wont close on it's own, the video just stays still. I have asked others and they don't know how to fix it too ormake it so it closes on it's own. What do you type in to make the video close when putting a video scene in your game? I have tried everything. :(

In order for me to close the video after it plays in my game, I have to hit esc. :(

Looks way too long and cumbersome. It would seem awesome the first time, but having to see that over and over just to use that skill would become old, fast and make summons a drag.

Not to mention the filesize.

I would advise against using that in my opinion.

erm.. I've already thought of that the time I used the script(and before I made this vid)... thats why the videos can be skipped..

and furthermore, the sizes arent that big.. that summon vid is actually 3.97mb of size.. and if I will create for example, 4 summons... that is equal to less than 20mb..

Well, it's good to see that you thought it through then. With skipping it's not so bad.

I'd still watch out for filesize in the future. It may not be so big now, but if you plan on adding more than four, then it'll start adding up. Especially since there are MP3s as well.
