  • Thanks for the advice. I will try a fully charged battery. I hope that your 5#10 runs with no problems.

  • I just got a 5-10 with the 2.4 LCD display controller, and I charged the bat last night and then did some testing this morning, and at first mine was fine, then the top rotor would start spinning then stop, I recharged my battery and now its fine. Dont know if that will help you, but it would appear, my battery being low was causing my one motor not to work.

  • Thats one of the first things that I tried , duh

  • its ur gyro, trim it, duh

  • I wish it was that simple , I had already changed the motors, just to make sure. I have two of these helis one new and one not so new. Its the same problem again and again.

  • no it's not it one of the motors i had the same thing happen bought a new speed controler

  • I have the same heli, and the wires on mine are opposite of your's,and it flies perfect.Try moving ur wires.

  • Its the speed controler. I have pulled the heli appart and ran the motors on the bench and the upper motor just revs up to full just after 1/4 throttle.

But thanks for advice on the gears.

  • it could be the gears not mashing proply, try to keep the gears as stabel as you can.when you throtel up the gears are lifting out of posion.

  • Yep the wires are conected right. Because at low speed the rotors spin in the right direction.

  • I had the same problem in lama v3...You haven't connected the motors right!Τry to change the connections of your motors and it will be ok!

  • i have purchased one it came today it has problems with the yaw it spins to the left all the time and it banks to the right i tried to trimm it but its futile now i cannot turn it back cause it has dents on the blades and the lower gear a little, crap better buy an eflite

  • I had the same problem after replacing both engines. The problem was that I connected the lower motor to "LOW MOT." and the upper motor to "UP MOT.". Try to connect the lower motor to "UP MOT." and the upper motor to "LOW MOT.". I don't know how the first motors where connected. Perhaps the 4in1 is not labelled correctly.

  • I just got a Blazing Star coaxial - very similar. My problem is that the lower motor (upper rotar) stops when I increase the throttle. It's as if the motor shuts off at a certain rpm. Meanwhile, the lower rotar is spinning it's butt off. Any thoughts out there? BTW, nice post below JL Tantrum... do you kiss your mama with that mouth?

  • well of course I do

  • obviously you smashed it and the rx is fucked

  • In reply to Mr Tantrum. NO I did not crash it , And the RX was new , this is my second NEW RX, And still it plays up.

  • 2,4ghz? ...omg... interference?

  • Try it with an other TX mmm OK I will try it.

It's almost the same price to buy a new 5#10 as a new TX .But if the prob lies with the TX I will have two 5#10s.

  • Thanks for your comment and input CormiersCorner.

But I had not touched the gears. I only replaced the RX, I have had two new RXs and still the same problem. The lower motor after about 10% throttle just revs up to full speed and when you apply any stick input to stop the helicopter from spinning the lower motor stops working.

  • Hi

I think this is not a mechanical problem. I know those Walkeras, i own a 5#8 with selfmade carbon body and a lot of tuning (Vid in my profile...). You can hear clearly that one of the motors suddenly revs up to full throttle. If you look at the sense of rotation of the rotors, you'll figure out that it's the lower rotor which suddenly goes to fast. To me that looks like an electronic problem. Try it with an other TX

  • I'm pretty sure that the gears were put in incorrectly so they're loose. When it gets enough force pulling up, I think the top rotor gear (below the lower rotor gear) lifts up and comes off the motor. Basically causes only one rotor to spin, which will make it turn like that at the same speed every time. It happened with my co-comanche after I tried to replace the gears but I did it wrong.

  • Nup its stil not working. The only thing that I did not chainge is the transmiter. I have had five of these walkeras, 4 x 5#4s and 1 x 5#10s and it seems to be the luck of the draw if you get a good one or a bab one.

    Such is Life M8

  • Did you figure out what was wrong with it? My Esky Dauphin is doing the same thing. I have replaced the mixer and 2 motors are on its way. I am hoping that it is one of the motors.

  • ok I will try that

  • u7686

  • upper blades rottate in wronk direction change tern the fich of the motor in the 2.4 ghz

  • Thanks for the tips . I will give them a go.

Its the upper motor, after about 20% throttle it just goes straight to full speed. The motors are new the RX is new (its my Third RX that i have tried)

    Thanks for the feed back.

  • Try these:

    1.Tighten your blades

2.Check that your pinions are meshing properly with the main gears

3.one pinion should only touch one gear or else you will have gear stripping and will also cause spinning.

    4. Maybe your inner tube (upper blades)is bent.

    5. Remove your motors and test them off load.

They should run at the same speed. If not play with the sensitivity on the receiver.

    Good luck

  • Dont know , two new RXs, new motors and it still is broken. I think that is cheap junk.

  • oh shit dude whats wrong with it.
