Before you pronounce something - and this will save you from looking like an über idiot - look up the pronunciation. It's pronounced Hatsunay Meeku (Ha-t-su-nay Me-koo). Get it? Got it? Good.

@carolinalights Is "hah" different to "ha"? The way I'd pronounce them both is the same, really. Oh, but it's definitely not "nay". I'm fairly sure "neh" is much more accurate. I think people say "nay" because that's usually how they'd read it when they actually pronounce a consonant with an e (e.g. the 'fe' in cafe).

If it were 'hah-tsu-nay' then really it'd be written 'hatsunei' rather than hatsune. ハツネ not ハツネイ. & which syllable you stress doesn't matter either. Usually equal.
