I suspect due to the loony being pegged to the dollar, that we will no doubt take a hit. But the loony is resisting this downward trend. The fact is that we have huge resources and some manufacturing left, while the States has no resources and no manufacturing. the only way to keep our dollar under the States is to print money, we have to stop that or we will find ourselves in the same boat.

I sold about 40 comic books recently--most were 25 years old or more--Spawn, Superman, ect...and they were worth nada. I ended up trading for a pack of cards for my son. Only the ones form the 60's or earlier are worth anything.

25 years old? that's nothing. 1980's books are worth basically face value (unless they are key issues). Spawn was a good call 15 years ago. Now it lost all interest. I got stuck with 50 issues of it too. Still have 'em...and might for a while. But golden age books are money.

Right now Canada seems like a nice place to be.  If not for the economy then for this global warming. It is way, way hot if Florida right now.

have you ever heard of vintage stuff? I'm not saying modern age comics. I'm talking 1940's - 1960's. They just like all vintage stuff...."might" be good for years to come. But hey....that's my opinion and I appreciate your comment anyhow.

I'd get out of anything collectible that we'll soon be able to create with technology coming out. Collectible paper products are pretty much there. Comics and other collectibles like them may have value at the moment, but in the long term, are an investment that can and will go to zero.
