stephen king started writing this when was a boy in college, im young,28, and i waited since i was 21 to read the rest of the dark tower series. the ending sucked/brokemy heart/ and was brilliant. this is a story that stephen king started in his youth and finished in his old age. duh its brilliant, a lifetimes work.

After having reread the series since my last post, "I cry your pardon gunslinger," you are, in fact correct, Cort has lost (or has damaged) an eye prior to Roland's' test of manhood. I marvel each time I read it, that SK could have created such a powerful world. I don't think the music was too loud. I still believe your's to be excellent work.

Well done but told in told in tarantino-ish basackwards fashion. Cort losses his eye as a result of the battle with Roland and David. Mentioning it at the beginning took me out of the story. Otherwise this is a beautiful piece that I completely enjoyed. ges
