This is a much deserved victory for a colt that's probably been the most consistent older horse in the Godolphin stable. Mastery has never finished worse than 5th in 13 career starts. Yet, he's raced in the shadow of Cavalryman, Cutlass Bay, Campanologist, and Kite Wood for sometime. I've always felt that Mastery is as equally talented as any of the afore mentioned. This win certainly eclipses his 2009 St Leger win. I hope to see him again in Dubai for the 2011 carnival. Well done Frankie!!
