I have heard people playing violin pieces on bouzouki and it's not as nice. Violin pieces are made for violin and bouzouki for bouzouki. Its like asking a dog to meow, he can probably do it but somehow its not the same. But having said that, I remeber hearing Lemonopoulos did a Classical Concert with bouzoukis in the USA.

There's two violins playing. You are a teacher so surely you can tell if someone can play or not. It's impossible to mime this stuff. I'm currently trying to memorise the Chaconne.
Classical can be difficult but greek music is even harder to play properly.
Entaksi ola afta.. Kosta can you play all these in the bouzouki? Bouzouki is an instrument after all,OK? A beautiful instrument after all. If i play Jazz on the bouzouki i am sure you can try Bach!?!? Hey? You are a good player after all!
Hello Andrea. Hope your well. It's a bit harder to play on the bouzouki but haven't tried yet. The stretches are much bigger so a bit awkward. Regards.

I myself have such days... where I only listen to for example the most complex works of Bach... the harpsichord concertos.. ;-)
