hahaha....a drouge chute on a BASE jump.....your an idiot. here's how it went for all you tryhards, he rotated off to one side and also had a 180 degree off heading opening that sent him towards the cliff, he got on a riser and turned away just before landing....he got lucky...very lucky that time.

When you are doing aerials and flips, your arms have a lot to do with how you turn and rotate. In order to do a rodeo (black flip 360) you need to bring your arms over your head in a similar way to what you would do when you throw out your pilot chute. He brought his right arm down to grab the pilot and put his left hand over his head to compensate, but he was off and it cause him to turn 180 into the cliff. Everything was good, other than his heading.

His pilot chute was oscillating and it pulled him onto his back before he deployed. Should have used a drogue shoot like I had on my tandem.

it had nothing to do with his pilot chute. his body was facing the rock wall when his canopy came out. it was a good deployment, but in the wrong direction, lol

No, it had everything to do with the pilot chute cuz he didn't have a drogue chute out like tandems have. He should get BASE specific gear.
