Crab,Pompano, anything that will stick in the mesh or stick on my shaft or jig, i sell it, yea i live right here on old dixie right down the street from the post office, i live next to the train man ,. idk if you know where im talkng about, but he has like a huge train set in his yard... right down from berry rd
Listen, these freaking sheepshead are tee TINY , i spearfish in grant florida on the big bridges in about 15ft or so of water with no tank in dead winter, i kill giants and i mean giant, my biggest was 13 on the spot, these are great eating, again piling not pylon, also shrimp will actually work very well, , im a comercial fisherman and it is 15per person, 12inches, except i have a restricted species endorcemen for my boat and i can have however many, I SHOULD BE ON TV !!
wow man..exciting stuff, seems like these fish are comparable to Blackfish/Tautog up here in NY...we use Fiddler Crabs and once u drop it in the water, your baits gone before you even hit the bottom lol....very fun fishing
great show but sad to see you robbed the craddle and kept the babies. Maybe kept 2 out of those. 4 lbs or bigger...you should have shown all the rib cage those fish have. babies! nc needs a minimum size limit. Kill all the small ones you will never catch any big uns
my friend and me went sheepsheading at the oregon inlet between Rodhanthe and Nags Head this past weekend i caught a 9lb 13oz and he caught a 9lb 8oz sheepshead. For there size sheepshead are the hardest pulling fish in the world, definitely not for light tackle
ive caught them all over.. but when i go there is a bridge but i dont really fish under it i just fish all over im not in a boat so...i dont know maybe it depends on where u live but ive caught them everywhere
we chum them by knocking the barnacles off the pilings
