  • No...

  • very cool i have an elvis video too

  • I loved this song. Thanks for the video, Blackelvis64. I, too, wish he had recorded this song AND many more. Can you imagine finding all these songs recorded after his death. What a dream!!!!!

  • aka doa... they'er only fooling about at rehearsal for the opening of his first consert at

las vegas dunce heads nothing to do with high and low notes and keys

  • @Drsynful They should have put this on an album and to think they were just fooling around,Think of what it would have sounded like if they had been serious

  • Elvis took a dive in this one. Wrong key? Nope, simply not his range.

  • apollocreed1703 tou are damn right

  • Elvis is the best bluessinger ever!

  • The reason he is hiding his great voice is that he is playing the song in a key that is wrong for his voice. He can't reach the high notes.

  • Dick Dale!

  • Back band --WOW!

  • This is available on the Gravel Road Music release from 2010 called Get Down and Dirty. It is the complete rehearsal tape of July 15 1970 at MGM Studios, Stage 1, Culver City, CA

  • I would like to hear elvis abit more to be honest. His hiding his great voice

  • This is in Studio A in Nashville!!

  • @snsproaudio this was not recorded in nashville this was filmed at the rehersals room in the MGM film studios where Elvis was preparing for his vegas stint for his August season in 1970

  • wow der king auch wow

  • @starkyliam JIMMY WEBB MY FRIEND

  • @starkyliam Stan Jones.

  • this is not even real!

  • 21 who dislike this are Fans oF justin bieber.. lol..

  • @chutxaro No. Don't laugh at your own jokes. Especially when they're re-hashed from other videos. >:O

  • Elvis, Johnny, Willie and the rest of the horsemen, that would be a heck of a good version...

  • Elvis Can sing anyting i bet he can sing the yellow pages of a phone book and people woul'd buy tickets

  • The Frankie Laine version is much better.

    Its on You Tube also

I'm a huge Elvis/Johnny Cash fan, starting from 1954, but you gotta give to this great version related to the movie "Ghost Rider'

  • @pornguy2 : The Elvis Presley version is the best!

  • love it.

  • Not taking anything from Johnny, but could he have kept up?

  • if Elvis had ever sung this song with Cash the world would have ended it would not be able to take that amount of AWESOME

  • @apollocreed1703 Chuck Norris' brain would explode. Then he would sing along wiht them

  • @apollocreed1703 they would have brought the ghost riders .... 4 horsemen of the apocalypse and the world would have swallowed its self hole 2 the core

  • Love those sideburns

  • Other than getting the verses out of order, Elvis does a great job.

  • imaginem esses músicos com recursos instrumentais de hoje !!!

  • AWESOME, this man could have sang the phone book and it would have sounded great. He was one talented man. Also so f...ing gorgeous!

  • Good art doesn't gets older. I live in Brazil.

  • @daltonagre

I feel sorry for you. Brazil is a racial slum, Earth's rotten cesspool.

  • ELVIS PRESLEY KICKS ASS!!!!

  • Sorry' i don't like this version at all, band is too loud, elvis mumbles or doesn't know the words, if it wasn't elvis no onewould look.

  • @MrHarleyoldfart He Knows The Words, It's How He Sings. All Of His Songs Sound Like That(:

  • QuIeNeS SoN LaS 17 PeRsOnAs A LaS QuE No LeS GuStO POR DiOS!!! PaBlO lEsCaNo, La MoNa GiMeNeZ, GiLdA, YaNdEl Y El OtRo QuE No Se CoMo Se LLaMa!!! No pUeDe No GuStArTe!!! QuE ZaRpAdOs!!! Me EnCaNtOoOO AMI!!! GrAcIaS PoR PoNeRlO!!!

  • This just shows you that this man could sing anything it make it his own. I bet Elvis singing the phone book would be great. Look at the artist today, so much of it is studio enhanced and when it comes to singing live they can't. God this man was SO TALENTED. The best their ever was!

  • Король-всегда и навсегда-Король!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • there is one back up band that is even better and they do ghost riders, and their guitar player is in my op better than J.B. you get 3 guesses................

  • Elvis could sing any song and make it sound great. Elvis and the TCB Band were so versatile. Elvis the king forever.

  • The King is quite serious in the beginning and the dudes is having fun joking they talk and laugh through his first verse; then they sense his epic vibe and couple realize this could be the GREATEST TRACK EVER(EPIC GUITAR REVERB) THEY STILL BE MISSING SOME KEY CHANGE NOTES THEY BE JAMIN

  • pour son epoque y chante bien

  • FANTASTIC!

  • thats awesome3

  • Definitely a shame he didn't create a finished version.

But then, a shame he didn't do a lot of things. Shame he died at 42. Shame he was so wasted at the end that he could hardly sing. What a loss altogether.

  • @doctorpsycho1960 Well said. I heartily agree with you, doctor.

  • Simplemente perfecto, perfecto!!!

  • I think we can see it at (ELVIS THAT'S THE WAY IT IS), which is a 203min doc and show at MGM in 1970 Elvis did!

But Elvis singing this music....my God.... i don't even know what to say about it, the guy took the music and turned it into magic, of course Johnny cash's version is amazing, but Elvis...wow... why he didn't do it full...why?

  • WOW never saw this before ... Thanks for posting it!

  • look at Vaughn Monroe % Frankie Lane's

  • WOW!!!!!!!!!

  • man it'd been a gas to Jam-play w/ elvis...

  • @plerimest only this jam exists

  • its cool to see ELVIS sing ghost riders

  • micro aus gewesen?

  • grande elvis y su banda!!

  • The key does not suit Elvis' range. Great jam though.

  • this is a good jam.i didnt know elvis did this. i wonder how much more unreleased footage fromthatsthe way it is is hidden out there. cstanchik

  • Sorry James...the wah wah doesn't save it

  • funny....great jamming elvis..elvis the great....

  • lol

  • Well, maybe they were just having fun and that's why he didn't sing it the way he should. But the band was pretty amazing.

  • @lere8 yeah thats right the band was amazing ...the vocals not

  • why is it so fucked up O.o?

  • @bangadesh they were just fooling around

  • Because he had a fucked up life!!

    SusanDianeMurphree/Marianna,Arkansas/January2010

  • Elvis is king no at this song

  • Funny to hear Elvis sing that song.

  • Elvis the king, see his ghost at khowardphotoart

  • Very great...:o)

  • Juss messin wit that thang - hot damn yo Rockin cats made a fine fine mess of it, E.P, J.B. Glen D. and all !

  • That seems like an outtake from "That´s the the way it is", lead guitar is the great James Burton

  • I think that this is the best version of that song i have ever heard. It has the right speed and sound.

Could someone tell me where i could find that song version?

    ELVIS IS GREAT

  • this song was performed on a rehearsal for the film "That's the way it is" released in 1970. It was not used for this film.

It was recently re-released in April 2008on the collectors' label FTD (Follow That Dream) on a single CD with the title "The way it was".

  • Sounds great.... Elvis the ultimate king of music...!!!

  • Not taking anything from Elvis but he had a great back band these guys are great.

  • @bigguy4570

his two best and most used guitar companions were scotty moore in his early career and mr james burton during his movie and vegas period.

  • @bigguy4570

    and so had johnny cash

  • @bigguy4570

and so had johnny cash ^^

  • I have been an Elvis fan a while now, One of my best country songs is Ghost Riders, so to see and hear the King do this version is beond Great. WELL DONE.

Does anyone know if this is avaible on dvd anywhere? Thank you very much.

  • This is awesome! I think Johnny Cash's version was better, but they are both kick ass! They should have sang it together!

  • ya they should

  • ive never heard elvis sing this, not sure why as ive heard a lot of versions.i like this.ty.paul,uk.

  • Cash is a cattle of another brand. None can define em, and none can mach em.

  • who wrote it?

  • Stan Jones wrote it in 1948. More than 50 different artists have recorded versions of it...including Johnny Cash, Bing Crosby, Marty Robbins and Spike Jones. Being a lifelong Elvis fan I wish that he had released a version of it.

  • Mr. Elvis and MR.Cash should have sang this song together!

  • unf. they cant anymore...

    great song...

  • they probably do right now.

  • @rojeremy yea really

  • @rojeremy that woild have been so awsome!

  • @rojeremy

    ...sung.

    sing- sang -sung

    English!

  • Great song, great performance even if it is only a practice session.

  • I prefer Johnny Cash's version of this song, but Elvis is a true master of Rock and Roll.

  • Elvis may be the "king" of Rock and Roll, by Johnny Cash's songs are not Rock and Roll. It's like a country singer rapping; it won't be as good.

  • He looks like he is really having fun with this one. Thanks again Pallindrom, really enjoying them.

  • Cool video,he just sounds amazing whatever he sings.

  • good video! xxx

  • I prefer Elvis as a rock 'n' roll/ ballad/ rythm'n' blues singer rather than a country singer. Of course they're a couple of country songs he performed which I like too.

  • The simpler Elvis the better Elvis!

  • Do you know if Elvis has sung this song in another occasion, either live or in the studio? I would like to hear Elvis's version once more with his voice a bit louder.

  • james burton on guitar.....play it james

  • Stay in the bar and keep singing.

  • No falar no olhar na arte em qualquer que seja expressaremos a nossa maneira de ser a nossa alma.

    Somos todos iguais.

  • Its ok

  • I like the way Elvis improvises. And of course his mand is very good.

  • I mean his band is very good.

  • AWESOME ELVIS!

  • I just confirmed that it IS authentic. Elvis was rehearsing for "That's the way it is".

  • how did you do that? Elvis is dead. Are you some kind of otherworld telepath or what?

  • FUNNY. No, I just looked up the information. Not that your Otherworld Telepathy wasn't an OUTSTANDING idea. ;)

  • Just because the vid didn't match the recording doesn't mean that it's not Elvis. I've seen alot of vids that were DEFINETLY him but they had to use clips of him singing other songs and splice them together because they didn't have both video AND audio of him singing that particular song. However, if you can PROVE that it's not him, I'm all ears.

  • Someboady did an amazing job making this becuase this is a hoax. These are clips from a rehersal that are joined together to make it seem like Elvis was singing this song however, it is not him.

  • Someboady did an amazing job making this becuase this is a hoax. These are words from a dictionary that are copied and pasted together to make it seem like whoa27 was typing this comment however, it is not him.

  • ...yeah, may be youre right

only when the rim of the drums where hitted seems to fit exactly

that possibly song should be with a similar rhy

  • cool song the doors did their own version of this song Called Riders on the Storm they started playing this song in a jam session and they started to make a song that would be the last song Jim Morison would make before he died

  • the best musicians from the 40's - 60's has got to be elvis Presley (R.I.P.) , link wray (R.i.p),and johny cash (R.i.p.)

  • BUDDY HOLLY!

  • Really enjoyed seeing Elvis and the band play this - great fun to watch, and one of our favourite songs to perform.

    JCRS

  • Elvis is the king, And he is better.

  • Elvis was definatly one of the best dressed guys around!

  • This is great! Elvis really looked up to Johnny Cash, and Johnny Cash looked up to Elvis. Two legends.

    MC

  • Great song!!!! I love it!!!!!

  • great!!!

  • johnny cash has a way better version

  • Yea, your right, but you`ll have to remember, that this is nothing but Elvis having fun in the studio between takes(And in bad sound too)....he never recorded this song for real, BUT had he done, I`m sure he would have rehearsed it and it would have been in a great way and in better sound too.

  • good edit, i like it!

  • Thanks Black Elvis-this is different and fun,a testament to their varied abilities

  • footage unrelated to song.....

  • This is him singing it. In the studio on the film
