  • he was hitting that shit hard tho!

  • wow science must be fun for the scientist O_o

  • very useful, interesting anatomy and very informative... i truly like it..

  • FAIL. you forgot the cumshot

  • Woa sciencitifc porn.

  • Franz Liszt

  • OMG Porn in Youtube! lol

  • Coitus!!! :P

  • Oh crap, I'm on that weird side of YouTube again!

  • kinda scary looking

  • 2:09 I can't tell if she's thrusting back or if he's jiggling her organs

  • good boy

  • MRI porn. Hot stuff!

  • Wonder how small this people are. What kind of magnet they use? closed magnet? open magnet? im assuming the coil they used is the bore coil or body coil.

  • MRI is not radiation

    MRI = magnetic resonance imaging.

  • He only got it heavier the bloody bastards at Ig are little boys with their gent in their hand

  • @pickachuuuuu Most of the boys here are of average size, and in fact, I'm female. But thanks for your interest in Improbable Research!

  • The quality image of a moving MRI is awful, it's just like fluoroscopy, and in digital fluoroscopy i'm pretty sure they would have got low xray levels and better quality of image. It's cool to see how far the medical imaging goes!

  • Perversion at its worst. Whats there in it? Penis goes in and penis gets out.. Penis goes in and penis gets out. So?

  • @Pyrophallus What is so wrong with sex? They explain the reasons beforehand

  • @Pyrophallus its how you look at it

  • collection number 119.. but only 37 videos uploaded?

  • feel something weird if i want share it in my facebook rofl ^^

  • who got a boner

  • i can't fap to this..

  • i cant fap to this

  • 1:40 take that,and that,and take that

  • what is this, i don't even

  • this video is hot

  • How they do it in the MRI? o_O

  • @Ga5Xz2 We published Ida Sabelis' account in vol 7, issue 1 of AIR: bit [dot] ly [slash] h0naOv (since YouTube apparently dislikes URLs being posted in comments).

  • @Ga5Xz2 VERY carefully :-)

  • @PrincePhoenixThe1st The researcher's name is Pek van Andel.

  • Hahha, I think of this whenever I have sex and her organs moving around. Goddamit.

  • If I go have sex in my washing machine and film it, do I get a nobel prize??

  • Like this if Josh and Chuck reccommended you!

  • PORN!!!

  • damn, the woman looks like she's getting her insides stirred around and that guy doesn't even have a huge penis. I think this should bolster the confidence on every man.

  • PORN ON YOUTUBE. YAY

  • ig nobel prize more like ick nobel prize

  • A new level for porn the very inside of sex just amazing the most hardcore porn and a scientific enlightment! to film two organs doing its work why shouldnt they thought that before? mmm whats next heart? brain? why not vocal chords?

  • @arianelcole theyve filed vocal chords--check out the human orchestra (beatboxer) from Stan Lee Superhumans--probably a video on here

  • Interesting to watch how the penis has a poke around up there, it's not just an 'in and out' motion as sex would appear. Hey, I've learnt something.

  • 1 - you get to watch and film strangers have sex

2 - you get to watch and film them "beating guts" on MRI

    3 - profit !!!

    bonus points - NOBEL PRIZE!!!

  • @esoteric2000 Ig Nobel Prize. There's a difference. :)

  • I think I'm most impressed by the temporal resolution they managed to get out of their MRI

  • Who came here just to see 1:38 and on? Who listened to the narrator?

  • closest thing to porn you'll ever see on youtube :p

  • CAN'T FAP TO THIS

  • I looked it up, and the silver guy with the glasses and flashlight is "Ig," the mascot of the Ig Nobel awards.

  • @malvavisco10 Not exactly. You may be thinking of "The Stinker". The silvery gentleman pictured in the video is glittery Jim Bredt, one of our Human Spotlights, who helps to ensure the ceremony is as well-lit as can be.

  • lol, theres pron all over my utubz.

But really, this was pretty funny and interesting at the same time.

  • Do you think they would have been able to capture sex on an MRI if the male they used had a small penis?

  • lol I can imagine the scene, he orders his young undergraduate student to do an experiment with him...

and then the conversation is like "ok my penis is errected now, I will proceed with the penetration of your vagina" "yes Professor Van Andel"

  • now no one gona go to that hospital to take an MRI anymore

    hahahahaha

  • rearranging organ goodness

  • wow womens guts get pushed around a lot

  • savage

  • look at 2:01 wtf is with the silver guy holding the flashlight?

  • @nahbrahnah

Usually that area is in darkness while they are shooting a movie. He is there to shine a light on the director's papers.

  • you guys are ignorant. Great work.

  • lol

  • dude, what kind of mri scanner are they using?! I have NEVER seen a moving scan on an MRI in my life. The acquisition times are just too slow. The patient moves an inch and the images are blurred and almost useless. Dang, I want to work on an MRI capable of capturing rapid pelvic thrusts haha

  • @rabidrino it's easy, normaly it would be blurry because the patient moves between 2 slices, but here there is only 1 slice captured over and over again (also blur is way less noticeable in video)

  • What, no money shot?

  • hmzi really need some cure to my loneliness

  • take a look at the frame at @ 2:01....

who is that silver man in the background, and why is he shining a flashlight??

also, the large scientist/chef in a beret is staring almost directly into the dr.'s asshole like he wants to cook it up and eat it.

what kind of awards ceremony is this?

  • Dutch tax dollars at their finest.

  • lucky bastard :)

  • In a weird, bizarre kind of way..this kind of made me horny..

and it freaked me out a lil. the organs are like havin a aparty. the penis is surely gettin it in. =x but i think this shud have age restrictions on it. its mostly porn in scientific manner. .weird.

  • I know I'm a geek when I'm trying to figure out how they got the MRI to pick a single cross section and get that framerate out of it...

  • For those that have never been in an MRI, just getting into thqat position is an amazing feat.

  • zoikes!!!

  • you just made sex something boring for millions of people around the world

  • Thank you, but we certainly can't claim "millions" when we're barely over 900k views. :)

  • @ImprobableResearch Sort of speak. But I'm serious, you did.

  • @ImprobableResearch now up and over millions

  • @ImprobableResearch Now up to 1,200,000 give or take and "rising"

  • @kaputtmanxD Boring?! Are you insane?

  • Can you actually move during an MRI scan? If so, would you be able to move at a rate that would demonstrate true intercourse?

  • Yes you can move during the scan period. But usually will have a blurry image and harder to figure things out.

  • Research indeed! I can imagine the so called researchers salivating and wetting their pants with pre-coitus excretions. How perveted some humans could be!

  • don´t judge a book by the cover you give it

  • I can't work out if this is porn or not.

  • It's explicit enough, but not sexy enough.

  • @nineteenthly : If it turns you on we can conclude two things:

    1. It's porn, thus probably prohibited somewhere uncivilized like UK or Australia.

    2. You are one sick human being and need medical attention stat.

  • @nineteenthly If you lose interest after masturbating it is porn, otherwise it's not.

  • @nineteenthly First time I see pr0n in front of my family, but they dont have a clue on what I'm seeing

  • is anyone else freaked out at how it looks like all the womans organs are shifting at each thrust haha

  • hey it's truem, if you turn up the volume you can hear a woman screaming... barely. It's weird watch how your organs "moves"

  • ok other than mri sex... why are they talking about bullpenis in the beginning and why is there a silver guy holding a flashlight from 2:01-2:06 ?

  • That`s a statue :)

  • saving this for when my kids ask me where babies come from.

  • Is he hitting that from behind?

  • Where we can see/download full length video?

  • perve..

  • D4niZeDog, you are trippin. There is no female voice in this video except the lady narrator. And she is definitely NOT screaming. Have you watched some hard core porn today or something?

  • if you turn up the volume, you can hear some woman-like screamings during the video...

  • すごいです。 おもしろかった。

  • How about that, he gets a nobel prize for showing porn in MRI format!

  • She said IG-noble prize.

  • It was an Ig Nobel prize actually.

  • Probably got a grant for it too.

  • i feel like I saw something I shouldnt have even watching that...LOL

    that was.....well.....

  • Only in the Netherlands would they allow such research...

  • Look at that bladder gettin' bounced around... no wonder I always have to pee so bad after sex.

  • jajajaja there is 2 persons having sex, it´s the best porn movie ever made and youtube put on line and u only take care about MRI and radiation and atoms....jajaja you´re sooo Sheldon lol

  • MIssionary position ftw.

  • Had heard about this Ig Nobel and this video for years. Nice to see research like this is now available here!

  • Amazing..although I should say this is to some degree porn taken to the extreme!

  • Allright I'm tired of the "experts" and the counter experts. MRI produces radiation. All fucking energy release from spun molecules is radiation. It does not produce IONIZING radiation, which is what the layman thinks of when he thinks of radiation. MRI radiation is safer than ionizing radiation, but recent info suggests that there may be some previously unaccounted for effects

  • mri does not produce radiation dont lie

  • sub \b\

  • 1:38

  • isnt it terrible tht they did this with lots of radiation... those sperms wud have mutated instantly

  • Who told you MRI uses radiation. People like you it seems just have to say something negative to sound more credible and alternate thinker. MRI uses magnetic field to alter spin of hydrogen atoms in body and create when these hydrogen atoms revert back to their original dipole moment and release energy. There is no radiation involved.

  • some new is learned every day

  • If you were Wolverine, an MRI would really wreck your shit :D xD

  • @joomlaprodigy you ass, that IS radiation, just not the most dangerous kind, the one we typically think of as "radiation", which is Ionizing radiation. Radiation is a GENERIC term for the release of energy by atoms from their electrons dropping spin states. Please get an education before commenting. Thank you.

  • @joomlaprodigy MRI definetely uses radiation! But the radiation it uses is not ionizing like x-rays because its frequency is in the same order as radiowaves.

  • @stuf1983 MRI is short for „magnetic rezonance imaging”, there isn't ionizing radiation involved in the process. But is important to note that people think of ionizing radiation when they say „radiation” and MRI does not use it.

  • @joomlaprodigy thanks einstein of youtube!

  • looks like some one does not understand MRI

Magnetic resonance imaging uses powerful magnets to move protons around.

so it does no use radiation. you moron

  • MRI does not radiate. The sperms and eggs are safe :D

  • Interesting, never would have thought this would be researched........ heard about this on Stuff you should know podcast and had to check it out

  • why people take this video with the incorrect idea, its for research

  • Interesting research. But why does "Mel," who presents the video alongside Improbable Research, look exactly like Charles S. Peirce?

  • I want to do that.

  • 3D movie presentation is requested for the next time.

  • nice

  • Well. Who would have thought THAT would ever befilmed?

  • NPR's Stuff You Should Know!

  • what position is that?

  • that must be...

  • This is why we get UTI's!

  • JOKES!!!!

  • I don't know if i ever want to have sex again

  • another one giant leap for mankind!

    great work, you perverts!

  • euuugh!

  • Look at his testicles wow. This is crazy o_o

  • HAHA AWESOME!!

  • Pretty extreme - good stuff though

  • Sent from how stuff works...i wonder how many views this had before that podcast...

  • weird video...I wish I never saw it. It's creepy.

  • um ok 2 things how is not 18+ and you can hear the girl moaning lmao!

  • See what happens when you get a Sonogram of a twin boy and girl in the womb? They don't know they're brother and sister yet. What do you expect?

  • meeeeeeeee

  • yes, yes howstuffworks. i love it.

  • 2:04 Chuck's Dad in the background!!!

  • me too

  • The reason you can't see get legs is because it's a sideways cross-section. Who else was directed here by howstuffworks?

  • Yes! Josh and Chuck advised me too!

    Awesome

  • Me too. :)

  • I love that podcast.

  • ...where are her legs?

  • am i the only one hearing slight screams

(moans?) in the background of the mri scan?

  • I'd do her.

  • Well i'm hot.

  • I'M 12 AND WHAT IS THIS

  • The moment they started humping was the moment my beer came trough my nose of the sheer lolness.

  • Very...very interesting.

  • fapfapfap

  • Hot

  • I love that they pause to mention the Noble Prize, but then cut back to the sex. Gotta keep it classy.

  • Ig^

  • My mistake.

  • It's Ignobel Prize, not a Nobel prize.:)

  • "Laypersons who have an interest in reproductive anatomy."

That sounds so much better than "I like to watch porn"

  • MRI porn yay!

  • co-i-tus

  • interesting.

  • I didn't came

  • Reading the comments here, I felt compelled to look up the correct pronunciation of "coitus." It turns out that, according to Random House Webster's, the commentator's pronunciation is the correct one. The common pronunciation ("coy-tus") doesn't even appear as an accepted alternative. I'll expect my IgNobel Prize in Linguistics to appear in the mail shortly.

  • HEY! Where's the MONEY SHOT??? :(

  • Come on my son!!!!

  • i wonder if they got little electric shocks from moving around so much in the big switching fields. (moving conductors in magnetic fields = current)

  • tsss lokisimo

  • the new wave of internet pr0n.

  • at 2:00 minutes is that a dude that is painted gray holding a flashlight? WTF

  • Yes, he is the spot light.

    Google, Ig Nobel Awards.

  • Of course; how else is he going to see his notes?

I take it that you've never watched a video or seen photographs of the Ig Nobel ceremony before. ^_^
