Obviously the look turns out quite nice in the end, but is it a given that one should wear foundation, concealer, blush etc. like you are in the beginning of the video? You never mention the fact that you have it on, so does that imply that you just always wear it no matter the look you're going for, or that this is always the basis? I never use foundation and concealer, or anything else "heavy".

@jjjjjokerface It doesn't *look* that heavy when it's done correctly, but it's still heavy makeup when you've put on layers and layers with it. I just can't handle it, feel like I can't breathe. I must admit, though it can look really beautiful when done right. Flawless even. Either way, I don't need the foundation and concealer, my skin is quite even and smooth.

sorry but it didn't look natural at all to me, less foundation because your skin is fine. Tone it down, theres no need for false lashes to every occasion. It seems like every make up tutorial on youtube includes false lashes, its a shame really, in my opinion. If i were going on a first date i would never use false lashes, a lot of mascara maybe but not false lashes.

I bought my MAC 227 brush because of this video and I don't regret it....it covers a large area, soft and I usually wear this look everyday.....I'm a neutral girl so perfect brush for me along with a crease brush and thats all I need really for my eyes! Thankyou

I've cut false lashes to get them half length or even shorter, never knew they actually MADE some that way, that's great. And very pretty look though I probably would've left off the lower lash mascara and just swept some of the wedge shadow on under like a liner instead.

It's worth spending SOME money on what you put on your face. On another tutorial Nic used a MAC eyeliner and I found a cheap $1 dupe. Needless to say, it one was a MESS, but with the MAC I had the same results she did. I do have some dupes for MAC that aren't as expensive but aren't $1 items either. Try at least the Revlon/L'oreal level to be satisfied with both the color and performance of the makeup. Coming home looking half made up because the cheap stuff faded is NOT pretty.
