I use the Times Square 42nd Street Station every day to go to school. I've walked by where she was singing in this video. No interesting EVER, and I mean EVER, happens. Despite being a NYC landmark, people seem to forget; there's no life there. It's just amazing how Alice Tan Ridley was able to start that crowd. Wow. Oh, and true fact: Ridley's daughter is an oscar-winning actor who was the star of Precious. Dammnn.

I guess on my many visits to NY over the past 20yrs, I should have spent more time in the subways. If I knew this much talent was being displayed I would have. Her performance on AGT just brought me to happy tears. I wish her the best and hopefully someone of music business power gives her a deal.
