LOL! Well sure, some kites for the water are huge, bigger than the biggest windsurfing sails. But people were doing crazy kite jumping etc before kite surfing was made popular. Serious injuries and death have resulted! I was flying a small 6ft delta stunt kite in a gale, and it ended up pulling me along the ground on my ass! X¬D

lol not that funny. my friend got a 13 meter kite and used it his first time on 25 mph wind.. hehe... we mesured it and it caried him 27 feet while airborn xDDDD then kept dragging him after he let go of the bar (saftey broke)

Might not have been a trainer kite, I think that bar is a Flexifoil Extreme, you dont get those with trainer kites.

got to be a trainer kite since its attached to his wrist. he wouldnt have got slammed so bad if he would have let go and let the safety do its job. screw a helmet unless ur around rocky terrain or learning a difficult trick. title is all wrong kiting can be done on all surfaces if done CORRECTLY, land snow water and on a big wheels

on land with a board its kite landboarding(sometime known as kite boarding)
