I'm really not trying to be offensive, but how do Japanese people type the characters? I love Jet's videos, he's so cute!

idk how real Japanese folks do it, I've always figured they have keyboards mapped to the characters or something, but I've got this language input switcher thing (forget the name) on my Ubuntu (linux) box at home that's pretty cool, you type the romaji (english characters) and it replaces it with the appropriate character. It's great for learning.

It's possible with a western keyboard if you install Japanese characters in Windows.

I'm learning Japanese (but I'm only a beginner).

For example, my name would be typed as

ジェリー. Konnichiwa as こんにちは.

You basically select Japanese in the language bar and type in romaji (roman letters) and it auto converts, for example, to katakana, hit space and then you can select from katakana, hirigana or kanji.

Hmm grip seems like its made for small children, and the space between the lens and the grip will also be pretty small.

Good luck with your Kiss X3 (500D), though I wouldn't expect much light coming through those kit lenses.
