The only problem with the hot glue hinge is that in cold weather such as snowy or winter time, the hinges become hard and will strip your servos. I tried to simulate cold conditions and put a sample in the freezer .The glue is very hard and doesn`t bend very easy. But in warm weather ,you can`t beat the hot glue hinge method. Thanks for sharing .
It might. EPP feels a little oily in texture, and I've had trouble getting clear tape to stay on for long periods of time. The Dubro tape (Blendern) is VERY sticky and may do just fine. Put on a piece, let it sit a week, and see how well it's holding!
it is good for EPP foam but for the cheap insulation kind pink foam I am using, Foams edges just breaks after a test deflection after the glue had dried.
Yeah, they work great! Try to keep it thick all the way across the whole length of hinge, or you get a thin, weak spot. I started a tear at one end when horsing the elevon during my pushrod installation. I had to remask the edges, regoop the tear with hotmelt, then spread it out... but thicker at the thin spot. Worked fine!
Will this work on EPO foam?

does the dubro hinge tape not adhere well to epp or something? Personally I'd much rather use it than have to go through all of that

True! The glue bends and flexes the edge it is attached to. It appears to be an EPP hinge only.

Do you know where I can get some cheap EPP foam?
