the cartoons in WoW are based upon the epic series of warcraft in general. i believe warcraft 1 came out like waaaaay back in the mid 1990s. and now, its way more than just 1111111 dead. just watch some of the WoW pvp videos. and raids arnt just tank and spank anymore. its all about positioning (both the toons AND the bosses). threat is huge now, and having the right tank. in TBC, mages and locks even tank.

Im on your side with WoW sucking, but honestly it has more pvp than this game. Im going to play this game, cancled my wow for it. But in WoW, there were 2 factions, meaning there is atleast SOME world PVP. This game has only 1 faction, meaning the only pvp you will do is in a instanced place, ex Arathi Basin, Alterac Valley etc. Although, this pvp will still be 10x better than wow.
That's not entirely true. The mini games are instanced based like Arathi Basin etc. The real fun is a. large scale siege warfare and(if you choose it) b. open pvp on the PvP server, aka no restrictions.
errr this game ahs no factions, there is a pvp server that you can kill anyone you just cannot kills your guildmates, people in your group or allied guilds
The video is fine, the commentary is a bit annoying. Judging from his word choice, he doesn't seem to know much about what he's talking about yet seems to talk as if what he's saying is fact. In this video, he's already concluded the bear shaman is not a melee class...yet, in this 2:36 video, that's almost all he did.
Actually, he says "he's a lot more the healer." And I'm not just talking about this video. He's already QQing about rangers and supposedly underpowered caster classes yet it seems he's a total newb to the game. QQ + newb (and newb teams) = bad.

from all the vids ive seen about the pvp weekend all caster classes are bad compare to the melee ones i mean the casters are doing crap dmg and drop like flys ,not mentioning the boring casting system while melee getting a brand new 1 which seems challanging and fun. sure the game isnt out there yet but its coming out in a month dont think a there would be some new casting system by then.

Well they didn't have spell weaving in the beta, whiich will be awesome. The level cap is 80 also and these guys are only level 20 so things will change a lot!
also the beta didn't have the spellweaving system, which will really make all the casters stand out.. spellweaving is pretty much the new combat system for the squishies..soo

The Bera shaman has alot more then one agressive skill, It has around 5 i think, Knockbacks, Armor reducing, 3hit Damage, Bleed and pure damage, pretty awesome overall class imo.
This is only pvp in lvl 20. lvl 80 pvp will be more brutal with ppl ho knows how to play. And dont forget this is the BETA not the real version of the game.
Just try it out for yourself. Im used to wow PvP i dont think its Clumsy. But ofc maybe the mini game thing isnt for you, but its just a mini game, here at level 20! If pvp is the only thing you will do, and nothing else interrest you. Then i dont know if AoC is for you.The sige battles will be awesome for every pvp fan though. But the game isnt built around pvp! Im playing that beta, but i dont realy like that instanced pvp^^, Real PVP should always be World PVP, Playing instaced is like joing a new game on Counterstrike^^
i think they heal thru being offensive. they stated that they dont want healers just sitting in the back healbotting while dps has all the fun . ala wow.

demonoligt is closest to mage, its basically a mage with warlock pets, it mostly has direct dmg not dots like wow warlocks so more like the mage
