@mrbuc More than that, Achtung Baby is one of the best albums ever and I've been to over 50 concerts by all the biggest names, including half a dozen by U2 and nothing comes close to the ZooTV tour. The 3 ZooTV concerts I attended were the three best concerts I attended.

When this album came out I listened to it constantly .This is one of The best Albums of The 90's.and Along with Joshua tree u2's best .U2 was really one of only a few 80s' acts to make relevant music in the 90s' After this masterpiece however I did not like any of there latter music.When people think of great 90s' albums this usually does not come to mind.It should however it is much better than any Nirvana album wich so many people think of as the best 90s' music.

Agree totally, I'm no U2 nut but I do think Actung Baby is my favorate album, it a suberb listen for start to finish, the mood is melancholy yet uplifting. A record that deserves to be listened to in full and not just dipped into on the ipod (other mp3 devices are available).

And none of the performances are perfect but they are overfilled with emotions, these things give concerts the unique feeling we prefer to listening to a studio record. Bono is a true master of live performance and that's what there can be no doubt about.

@Soulrivers: YES! The guitar part Edge plays behind Bono for that verse is brilliant. I know U2 don't like to repeat themselves, but I really, really missed that bit on the 360 tour. Don't get me wrong, it was great to hear this track again, live. But the new, distorted, sustained line Edge came up with for the current tour can't hold a candle to this. Maybe he didn't realize how perfect the Zoo TV version was? Maybe he just wanted to mix things up a bit?

WRONG...the 360 version didn't have to use all the background keyboard and extra guitar sequencer in the chorus that this version did...on this tour Edge took casre of all of that with his effects...a much better arrangement
