@sk8brder40 Well you see, "Emo revival, twinkle daddy" bands like Old Gray, Snowing, Algernon Cadwaller(idk if I spelled it right), 1994! and other bands with this label sound like this because they draw a large inspiration from this band, that's why they have the trade mark "twinkle daddy" sound. So American Football are pretty much the first "twinkle daddies." This band is a staple of 90's emo. Hence why these newer bands are considered "emo revival"
