I did everything you have in the video and my tracking wont work, when i click apply the null object moves to where the tracking point was set but nothing locks, not even the tracking points, WTF :(

@Grungerzx2eb Make sure you select high contrast / high visible points to put your track points on. Also if the video has motion blur, it wont be able to lock. There are better motion trackers available thou which could also help you.

Can you help me? My video does move, like I said in the comment on the text in video vegas tutorial, but the problem is, for example a counterstrike vid (my vid is about gunz, an whole other game but for the editing the same concept), my gunz vid or counterstrike vid, starts with an intro where a free camer goes straight trough the map, at high height, but there is one tower, the camera will pass on the right side, but the tower has 4 sides, and I want to paste text on the RIGHT side of the towe

@serbu21 Hey, it depends on how well your motion tracking worked. Make sure you track a target that doesn't move throughout your film and also makes it easier if it somewhat stands out from the rest of your footage.

@nrGiiii Hey, that would probably be because it moved off your tracking point. Make sure you go to the start of your video and choose a strong point that stands out from everything else and that remains in the composition throughout the course of your whole clip.

Good job. You might want to soften up your text - maybe even use CC Force Motion blur - to match it up with the surrounding footage.

It's a pretty handy technique, but you'll probably have found that it has its limitations - if you're interested, I just posted a tute showing how to camera track in 3D with PFHoe. Love the CounterStrike vids - too old to be any good these days, though!

@FrankitoHhhh Pretty much, as long as your footage is tracked, you can have that text anywhere. I could have put it on the couch in my video or on the floor or roof. You just have to rotate it to make it look like it's there
