Hey Nick. Would you mind providing some details on how Josh made the vent cover? Im making a saw for halloween and that piece is proving to be a little challenging.
@inov8ve Hey, Yeah I'm not entirely sure how he did it but after i got it from him i realized i could make my i myself. I started by sculpting it in clay (super sculpey), then i made a silicone mold (OOMOO Silicone Rubber) of the clay version, then i pored a plastic (Smooth-Cast 300) into the mold. its not to hard just a little expensive. Smoothon.com and the clay is at a.c. moore or michaels
@franknelson cool. thank for the info. i considered trying clay but i figured i could make it from salvaged parts. i tried cutting it out of a can, a sparay paint cap, and from wood. noone of those turned out so good. i'll probably just make a one off piece from clay and paint it, to keep the cost low.
then it's on to making the shotgun.. havent had much luck finding a toy double barrel.
btw... your prop saw are awesome. thanx for the inspiration and keep up the good work!
300 bux is a lot of money dude, plus shipping fuuuuck that. i just went to a junkyard and bought a broken chainsaw for 30 bux plus all the hardware was an extra 20that was $50 dollars total, . not to be rude but ure price is way too high ridiculous
