I remember watching the different "McDonald's land commercials in this era..usually seen during the Saturday morning cartoons..my favorite was the filet o fish commercials where Capt. Crook was stealing all the filets..and rowing off in a boat..but Ronald snagged the plug in the boat with the hook from his fishing pole and pulled the plug and Capt. crook started sinking...I loved that commercial as a kid..I've looked all over Utube hoping someone had posted it.I would really like to see it again
@bsharp61 I haven't seen any commercials on this website that revolved around Ronald McDonald thwarting Captain Crook from stealing the Filet O Fish Sandwiches. "The Making of a McDonalds Commercial" featured a behind the scenes of a commercial where Captain Crook and Hamburglar tried to fool the others into thinking that McDonalds was sold out so that they can have the Filet O Fish Sandwiches and Hamburgers for themselves.
What happened to "Election Time In Mcdonaldland", and "Psychedelic Hamburger Machine", two ads I can no longer find on Ytube? BTW, I remember these ads, like original Grimace, with his six arms.

Wow, such shameful advertising. Indoctrinating children to buy more burgers and creating this fantasy land where "everyone says a big hello!" Children construct this impression of all McDonald's they see so they can nag parents into buying more shit that essentially kills them.
I remember those "Traveling McDonaldlands" those stages that used to come to a local McDonalds and were towed by those big trucks. When I was 13 a friend of mine and I were going to throw eggs at Ronald at one of these but there were about 3,000 kids and parents there and we never got close enough.
Coal liquefaction baby!!! A couple thousand years worth of oil can be made out of our abundant coal reserves using technology perfected in the 1940's!

This is the first time I've heard Officer Big Mac speak! I'm not too sure I like his voice. Haha.

I had never seen a 70's McDonalds commercial on this site that had the Professor speaking. Doesn't Officer Big Mac's VA sound familiar to you?

A whole lot of thought, and talent went into making that ad. Not to mention a whole lot of LSD. :)
