in my opinion, jamario moon probably did not know the second dunk had to have a person pass it, therefore jamario moon needed to showcase his best dunk to stay alive in the contest (which was jumping behind the free throw line the one he previewed in the commercials) although he knew he coudlnt have dont it as an alley oop he did it anyway because that was like what people were waiting for and was most likely his last dunk.

moon should have had a higher score than gerald green, instead the judges gave gerald green a higher score, they should have had moon vs dwight howard face off in the dunk contest. because gerald had no chance against howard. but if it was moon, he could've had a chance to beat howard.

The dunk contest has lost all integrity. Degree of difficulty means jack shit these days, its all about gimmicks, props and costumes. Difficult dunks like this means shit without a cape, fireworks, a ladder, and your teammate jumping up and down like an idiot.

Go Moon...next year hopefully the NBA gets better judges, and better announcers unlike idiot TNT moron's.

These announcers are ass holes. The first thing they say after jamario moon does this dunk is "Well, it was about a foot below the free throw" where as when Dwight dunks it they said "OMG BEST DUNK EVER OMG OMG SO COOL SO GOOD OMG OMG".

i agree, but he ruined it for himself... he put down a piece of tape over a foot behind the FT line. he was two feet short of doing what he tried to do. if he never put down that tape he woulda gotten a higher score for sure.
