the Dead have seriously been one of the best things to happen to me. they make great moments in life greater, and make the sadder and darker moments, not as dark in a way. its a bummer, im only 15 but i am totally living in the wrong time man. whatd id do to been able to catch these guys at the filmore, or winterland. thanks for posting, great jam :)

Shit DID change when Garcia died! I noticed the changes in th music on the scene immediately! It was like his presence or his being and his being here, on earth, kept this bad shit away from the music scene. thumbs up, mama, that SOMEBODY noticed that besides me. been there.nice post.became an official deadhead in 84 i was 14. i was turned on by the generation before at an early age. missed the rainbow gathering in 85 in kane penn. went to see the dead in buffalo instead. no regrets.hitch- hiked across canada four times,and blew my mind.

Thanks, dude. This is just the fix I was looking for. These old tapes did us well for a long while. Now they are dragging and losing their magnetism. I swear to God and God doesn't like me to swear but shit changed when when Jerry died. I feel it everyday. I do get excited though when I see some hippies hitchhiking because I know there is a Rainbow Gathering about to go on in the Talladega National Forest and it brings back memories.
