Actually it is not a matter of overpricing as GM products are on average Cheaper than Toyota and Honda products.... people do not mind spending a little more for a lot better product as is clearly evident in that Toyota has overtaken GM in sales.

If that is the case then Japanese cars should faring worse then GM Ford, Chrysler as their cars sell for more.. Yes they pay less for cars, but their income is only a fraction of ours as well. Now with that said I bet if you buy a Chevy Impala lets say here in Canada for 20k...something tells me ..infact as a former Chinese national I can confirm that exact same car may indeed be a bit cheaper, but not drastically.

It's up to you-support a company like KIA who has NO canadian content orlook at a car like an Impala or Caravan with huge Canadian content.Our neighbours are the victims. It's a sad fact; big SUV's and inefficient trucks are a thing of the past. The shrinking resources and valuable materials needed to make these vehicles are becoming unsustainable. We should be on the European track for fuel efficient vehicles. Instead, the idiots of Ford, GM, and Chrysler are all producing enormous V8 engines in cars TO THIS DAY.

A terrific vehicle- very, very well-built right here in Oshawa.

Give this plant's employees something more economically viable to build, and I'm quite sure they will build it very, very well also.
