The devil's power, even? Alucard uses his own power. He's just godly at it compared to most of the small fry he is put against. Imagine the fight against Alhambra... with Alucard at the level he's at during chapter 87 of the manga. That's Alucard who (I suppose he has around a couple thousands of souls inside him in the beginning of the manga) has around two million souls. Basically, untouchable in combat. At that point, even Anderson wouldn't be able to hurt him.

Well, basically, for Alucard, using his hellhound is like using his right arm. Alucard absorbs the people who he empties of blood into his body, making his power even greater... which is why usually, he is restricted to not going all out. Alucard going all out is by far the strongest character in all of Hellsing. Besides, as Alucard says: "A monster can only be defeated by a human", which is true. Alucard is the only one who is a true monster. The other vampires are like baby monsters.

Well, the point is, they're all going about this the wrong way. If a tank waas driving towards you, would your first impression be to roundhousekick it away? Or would you rather try to find a way to destroy it. Alucard is immune to any sort of regular damage, so what they have to do is something completely different.

Wrong again. If I wanted to kill Bruce Lee, I wouldn't try to fight him with martial arts. I'd try to find a way in which I could actually WIN. Because fighting Alucard in direct combat is more or less suicide.

Or find some way to negate his powers. They just have to either find out how to do some irreplaceable damage, or hurt Alucard where it hurts (like killing Integra). Alucard would probably be pissed, yes. Now imagine him fighting Anderson (who Alucard is incapable of killing) as he is in volume 8, I believe (definitely able to hurt Alucard). I don't think Alucard would win. Another thing they could do is use his own abilities against him. He got so many, some of them must have severe weaknesses.

Try, at least. But, well, he can't release fully without Integra's permission...and Integra cannot give permission when dead. So either, it would make Alucard a permanently fully released vampire, or it would make him unable to release fully before he finds a new master. If he's unable to release fully, he could be defeated by some of the stronger vampires in Millennium.
