Thank you. An excellent set of tutorials which are extremely well documented in your videos. I am always staggered at how versatile Linux is! I did have a question which I hope you can answer. How does Bind work behind a router which is set up as a DHCP server and broadcasting the DNS servers for my ISP? I'm also looking at the DHCP tutorial that you created. What do I need to do on the router (linksys E3000) do set up DNS and DHCP correctly? Many thanks!!
Thank you so much. Such a clear and concise tutorial! Helps me a lot. I have a question, though. I have this box in my home network installed with ubuntu server 10.04 LTS. I read from somewhere that configuring my network settings from DHCP to static, I can only be able to effectively use my static IP address from my place of residence and I wont be able to use the web from other places. If I transfer my location, say from one state or city to another, does that mean I have to reconfigure again?
well, I saw it all and I must say, you've done marvelous job! Thanks to your efford, my chances of succeeding in my networks examination tomorow highly increased.
To sum it up, Ya got it all worked out very nicely! Thanks!
