  • I was just thinking. You could use a Dremel tool to grind those nipples down maybe 1/32" and then mount the cooler. It's the height of those nipples that causes the damn thing to mount so loosely.

  • I think that if you turn those two center plates upside down, so that the little nipple points down instead of up, you can get the cooler mounted tight enough so as not to wiggle. I tried, but couldn't quite get the bolt started on the second side, because I was working alone and not strong enough to squeeze the bracket down with the fingers of just one hand. Two people working together could do it. Anyway, mine wiggles, and I'm pissed. Did put the thermal paste on like you did.

  • Are you high? You look high. If you're high in all your reviews I forgive you and take back my previous comment because then you have an excuse for looking like a retard. Otherwise you suck bigfoots dick.

  • @Jackal40k how about neither?

    -Price

  • Ok seen a few of your reviews now. You're absolutely terrible. You look retarded. You smile way way way too much. Get a haircut and get a real job kid. Leave the reviews to adults who know what they're doing and go back to playing COD please. Thanks

  • @hrbear actually you dont need to cover the entire cpu, just the die itself which is in the center. the die size varies cpu to cpu, but in general, if you split the cpu into a 3x3 grid, the center square of that grid isnt much smaller than the die itself

  • I'm stuck on Noctua coolers anyway :) I disagree with your method of placing the thermal paste. This way, the paste is compressed and propagated on the CPU's surface, but you don't know if the square was totally covered with paste or not. You may missed the edges, or if the paste quantity is more than enough, you may had a paste overflow at the edge. I prefer the classic finger applying method :-P

  • @hrbear there is a video on youtube that show the dot method is the best

  • I kept trying to find the vid where it fits in the x58 boards where there's 6 slots of RAM. I got those high profile RAMs from G.skill and I got 6 of them. I'm worried if the fan will block the RAM?

  • @KillaDoor89 Its a Prolimatech Megahalems with green fans on it lol

  • @LavcoPriceTech Damnit, do you think i should get the thermaltake jing?

  • @KillaDoor89 No we are pretty sure its bad its smaller and way less CFM"s" then the frio =]

  • @LavcoPriceTech Well have you had any experiance with the Zalman cnps9900nt? its the only other green cooler i can find.

  • @KillaDoor89 In the past Zalman coolers arent so great...............

  • @LavcoPriceTech i think ill give up on getting a green cooler, and just get a good, basic white or black colored one.

  • Haha, nice video guys, I was like checking your channel everyday and you didn't upload a video until now, love your vids, btw, try Arctic MX3 should give you abt 1-3 degrees better than zerotherm trust me :)

  • @TechMatt7 Ha thank you that means alot to us!!

Oh and we got that NZXT case you asked for!! Review will be up shortly.

And we will be doing a fatty review on thermal compound

  • @LavcoPriceTech Haha, its cool man, I love how you give your HONEST opinion on stuff since that can actaully help us decide what to buy, but yeah I love your reviews :) (see how I bolded that HONEST there?)

  • @TechMatt7 Haha thank you thats cool

  • @LavcoPriceTech Oh and btw if you want to get into custom watercooling really cheap, check out the XSPC Rasa 750 kit, it comes in a 120, 240, and 360 rad kit. It's freekin' cheap! The 240 rad kit only costs 129$ and includes everything you need for a CPU loop (a waterblock, a dual-bay reservoir and pump, and the rad and fittings, tubing and all the kool stuff) It gave me like a 10-15 degree drop from my old and sucky H50! Oh check performance pcs and jab tech for prices :)

  • @TechMatt7 Hmmmm I quite like it. Muhahaha we will look at that

  • @LavcoPriceTech Are you uploading the NZXT m59 case review now? btw, we should chat sometime, you guys seem like EXTREMELY COOL ppl to talk to. you guys have any aim or skype or anythin? oh btw, is that a HAF 932 side panel i see? :o

  • 7:17 You have C1E on.

  • @MrRageaholic1 This is the varying multiplier?

  • @LavcoPriceTech Yes, I have it off my AMD x6 rig and it helps temps on idle and i think helps power consumption. but you can turn it off if you wanted.

  • @MrRageaholic1 When i turned it off just now the varying multiplier was still active. So weird..............

  • @LavcoPriceTech SpeedStep is on to, That is making the multiplyer dropping to keep it low temps. I think it's called Cool 'n' Quiet on AMD boards.

  • I like your videos the best out of all the other pc-type channels :D

  • @evilhugbear Thank you so much!! That means alot to us!!

    Thank you for watching!!
