Pat Kenny needs a new researcher who knows what their talking about. Horselips bigger than Rory Gallagher!!!! catch yerself on. By the sound of the reformed Horselips they need a bit more practise and I'm so glad I gave their recent gig in the Waterfront, Belfast a miss. Money well saved. But I'll still listen to the vinyl.

I saw Horslips as supporting act to Nazareth in the 70ies. They were great but come on: greater than Rory Gallagher? - there are two musicians here in Germany when spoken of people turn their heads and get goosebumps: Rory Gallagher and Ritchie Blackmore. Among us old farts these are the two Iconic Musicians as far as Rock-/Blues Music is concerned.

Got to admit - didn't like it either on first listening but then again these lads aren't angry young men anymore. Like how Clapton reworked an acoustic version of Layla I think this is more appropriate to who they are now. Anyway - who are we to second guess these guys musically ? That said, I'd love to see... anyone... say Fall Out Boy put this at No.1 in the US for 6 weeks and let Horslips rake in a few bob.
