I have been waiting since I was 8 years old to see *any* of this ballet. My mom took me to see RB (did get to see Fonteyn and "that new guy," ie Nureyev in Swan Lake). Somehow, I came to believe that the ballets highlighted for that tour in the fancy program were the only ballets in the universe. Have finally managed to see most, but not Rite of Spring, The Invitation, or this. Well worth the wait (not going to say how long). Choe just sparkled, and Ashton was one of my gods.
