Goldeneye and Perfect Dark were AWFUL (generic and auto aim up the ass) and Conker was mediocre and had "humor" on par with family guy. Blast Corps, DK64 and Diddy Kong Racing were pretty bland too. The rest of their games are pure shovelware.

But I'd rather have a Ps3 today since you have acess to an actual INTERNET. But Mircrosoft does make the best PC Laptops. You can do alot more with Mircosoft computers than the Mac.

The controller is still the most uncomfortable thing I've played with, and it doesn't have many games that peak my interest . There are many people who agree with me thinking Rare was at there best when they were with Nintendo. We all have opinions and calling people ten year old won't solve anything.
I love Rare and have all their Xbox games. I'm glad Microsoft bought them since their a great studio and really bring something to Xbox owners that we didn't have before such as variety

@flameheat1000 Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts was all Rare's idea, not Microsoft. Rare said they were thinking about doing it similar to the first 2 Banjo games on N64, but thought it might be similar and not innovative enough. The one thing I respect Rare for is the fact that they AT LEAST try and innovate unlike many other developers that just put the same shit out year over year.
@serialkiller77 Nuts and Bolts wasn't a true Banjo game, but the game was still great and easily worth the $50 price it was given. As for Conker, It wouldn't have made sense to release Conker 2 on the Xbox when the first games audience is on the N64. Rare made Conker on the Xbox with the intention to do a sequel after. The game sold poorly and Rare realized alot of people didn't buy the game so they scrapped the sequel. That doesn't mean a sequel will never happen, it just means not now.
@serialkiller77 Rare is working hard right now. Nuts and Bolts came out in late 2008. Their next game is most likely going to be announced at E3 and will likely come out later this year. Their also secretly working on Killer Instinct 3 for release next year even though they say they aren't.

Sure they aren't as good as the games they made back in the old day, but thats because most of the people left the studio after Perfect Dark 64 was made. Ive enjoyed every Rare game on N64 and every Rare game on Xbox 360. Was I disappointed with some? hell yeah, but I still enjoyed them. In my opinion Rare has always made fun games. Some disappointing than others, but still fun games.

I believe after the success of both the WII and The DS (Especially knowing they have made tons of the DS, and STILL makes money off of it.) I disagree. Perfect Dark Zero was far worse than Perfect Dark and/or Goldeneye. Conker for Xbox was exactly the same as Conker for 64 with more censorship. Kameo felt like a rush job. Though Banjo Kazooie for 360 is pretty good and adds some cool new elements to the game.
So yeah, 1 out of 4 of their major releases has been okay.
I blame the fact that alot of Rare's people left.
Just like what happened to Sega. Journey of Dreams was the firast good thing they've done since 2003.
I wouldn't mind seeing Rare games on the Xbox and 360. The only thing I miss when they were with Nintendo is for Donkey Kong games. PAON now has the rights to make the DK games like Barral Blast, but they're struggling to make it good as DKC and 64. However I do agree Rare is suffering like Sega was, but going back to rejoined Nintendo isn't gonna help, to me I think the only way they can reedem themselves is to try to make the games good as the N64 like up to 5.
Not all will agree with you. Some people have the rights to make complaints at there parent companies if they want. I wouldn't mind seeing Rare games on the Xbox or 360. I like Kameo and Nuts and Bolts was dissapointed to me cause the driving elements is not my taste of platform games. I do think Microsoft forced Rare to make a gameplay like that, but that's really just MY OPINION. If Nuts and Bolts was on Wii, it might not work on motion sensor.

@flameheat1000 Banjo Kazooie Nuts and Bolts was all Rare's idea, not Microsoft. Rare said they were thinking about doing it similar to the first 2 Banjo games on N64, but thought it might be similar and not innovative enough. The one thing I respect Rare for is the fact that they AT LEAST try and innovate unlike many other developers that just put the same shit out year over year.

@serialkiller77 Nuts and Bolts wasn't a true Banjo game, but the game was still great and easily worth the $50 price it was given. As for Conker, It wouldn't have made sense to release Conker 2 on the Xbox when the first games audience is on the N64. Rare made Conker on the Xbox with the intention to do a sequel after. The game sold poorly and Rare realized alot of people didn't buy the game so they scrapped the sequel. That doesn't mean a sequel will never happen, it just means not now.

@serialkiller77 Rare is working hard right now. Nuts and Bolts came out in late 2008. Their next game is most likely going to be announced at E3 and will likely come out later this year. Their also secretly working on Killer Instinct 3 for release next year even though they say they aren't.

@painkiller234 I don't think you even played the Rare games on Xbox. Rare has made good games on Xbox 360. Sure they aren't as good as the games they made back in the old day, but thats because most of the people left the studio after Perfect Dark 64 was made. Ive enjoyed every Rare game on N64 and every Rare game on Xbox 360. Was I disappointed with some? hell yeah, but I still enjoyed them. In my opinion Rare has always made fun games. Some disappointing than others, but still fun games.

I believe after the success of both the WII and The DS (Especially knowing they have made tons of the DS, and STILL makes money off of it.) Nintendo has enough if not ALOT of money to get back Rareware. Though they never really did own them at first, and they were both partners, plus Nintendo let them do whatever they wanted to do, which is why rareware came out with AWESOME games with Nintendo. Kameo was the only okay game by Xbox and thats because they were making that from the Gamecube.

its ok. but not all of their series have bad graphics, look at galaxy 1 & 2, sin and punishment, monster hunter tri, and metroid other M. they all have great graphis. yes not up to par with microsoft and sony but still above the gamecube graphic line. plus the wii and the ds are still the top saleing systems in the vg market right now, with sony psp right behind them. so its all really the way u look at it.

True Microsoft did have a part to play in Rare's downfall but the main reason they suck now is not that they are owned by Microsoft but that theres no orginal employes that worked for Rare back in the good old days working there now.

I disagree. Perfect Dark Zero was far worse than Perfect Dark and/or Goldeneye. Conker for Xbox was exactly the same as Conker for 64 with more censorship. Kameo felt like a rush job. Though Banjo Kazooie for 360 is pretty good and adds some cool new elements to the game.
So yeah, 1 out of 4 of their major releases has been okay.
I blame the fact that alot of Rare's people left.
Just like what happened to Sega. Journey of Dreams was the firast good thing they've done since 2003.

I wouldn't mind seeing Rare games on the Xbox and 360. The only thing I miss when they were with Nintendo is for Donkey Kong games. PAON now has the rights to make the DK games like Barral Blast, but they're struggling to make it good as DKC and 64. However I do agree Rare is suffering like Sega was, but going back to rejoined Nintendo isn't gonna help, to me I think the only way they can reedem themselves is to try to make the games good as the N64 like up to 5.

Not all will agree with you. Some people have the rights to make complaints at there parent companies if they want. I wouldn't mind seeing Rare games on the Xbox or 360. I like Kameo and Nuts and Bolts was dissapointed to me cause the driving elements is not my taste of platform games. I do think Microsoft forced Rare to make a gameplay like that, but that's really just MY OPINION. If Nuts and Bolts was on Wii, it might not work on motion sensor.
