@nickwallacesmith have u seen the birdcage with robin williams? when hes trying to inspire the dancer thats accompanying nathan lane? he puts his shirt over his face line LAMENTATION..and martha graham, martha graham, martha graham

@kkh369 that iconic black and white pic of her where shes doing ballet, her leg is up in an arc and she has her hand on her head? she sort of just parallel to the ground? i had a poster of that on my wall when i was a kid! and im not even a dancer! i also had that poster of baryshnikov with the eyeliner, lookin all david bowie.

Im 40 now and dance since I was 4..classical ballet and latin american dance......quit when I was 30 and now my body was telling me to start dancing again before I could never be able..I thought why not and started dancing Graham style just a week ago..Its hard work my old trained body needs to remember all the muscles and bring them back to life... but I love it!!!!! My respect to you lady and thanx for giving me this!!

@Aphy1970 - the body does remember - it's truly amazing - a version of 'you never forget how to ride a bike'! but seriously i've gone back to class a number of times and am always surprised how my body falls back into things
