I just realized the protagonist's mecha in a story I'm writing is functionally and thematically the exact same thing as Ideon- terrifyingly powerful and incredibly hard to use (considering all the weird gimmicks it would have in an SRW game). Except that the protagonist doesn't have a FABULOUS afro and it doesn't look like a set of RVs welded together.
...though really I based it more off Zeorymer. ...Neither of those are really excellent though, huh?
Great song. It has that essence of tremendous, horrifying power that represents Ideon...
Pretty much the only robot with a chance of beating it is Turn A, since Moonlight Butterfly only attacks machines and doesn't endanger innocent life, at least not directly. Hence, the Ide can't really harm it.
It's not a question of raw power, it's a question of how the attack is carried out. If you attack Ideon in a way that would endanger innocent life, you're just screwed.
Moonlight Butterfly can't hurt people, so Ideon can't counter it.
I think this tune better represents the scale of the threat against the Ideon. The Buff Clan ne'er know when to stop the long chase against our buddies in the Solo Ship.
The only time we will see this

I think this song just perfectly sums up the series, and it was a great choice on the SRW team's part.

Never mind, I found the movie version of To the Cosmos.
Still, I'm curious as to whether there are any differences between the two. I'd check now, but the track only plays in the one stage.

If the pilots of Ideon were smart, they'll just use the blackhole cannon to warp Turn A out instead. Why bother dashing forward with the attacks?

Why wouldn't Dis be a match for Ideon?

Unless you just change the program settings on the nanomachines to attack organic matter.

Wow, you're right about that one. Nice deduction.

Everything's gotta a limitation or a flaw. You just gotta look hard enough for it.

I think Ideon's a good reason to continue pursuing the Solo Ship.
