The best adjective to describe this movie is brave.

It's a disturbing piece of film-making that succeds in adapting a difficult novel.

Its style reflects that of the book, half fiction, half reality.

The funny thing is everyone finds it difficult to believe that a modern western country could be rotten to this extent.

Scary fact: some of the "actors" that play mobsters in this movie were actually arrested and found to be real "mafiosi".

The book is in greater detail and important parts of the narrative have been omitted. For those that don't understand the film read the book as it is easier to follow. The book is far more disturbing than the film. And it is not a narrative as such, it is the New Italian realism resurfaced in a new face. Campania is the Gomorrah stronghold, but now the N'draghetta, the Calabrian Mafia and the Cosa nostra Sicily's mafia are all locked in together.

è un buon film. come per tanti film di mafia (padrino, godfellas, scarface, ecc..) il suo valore crescerà nel tempo. le scelte musicali sono perfette, molto trasversali ed estreme.

Watch it as you'd watch a documentary, as that's what Gomorrah is. A true and factual depiction of how in Italy organised crime has infiltrated all layers of society, from the very bottom to the very top. Highly disturbing.

può anche non piacerti, ma la differenza tra un film e Gomorra è che i film raccontano storie Gomorra racconta la realtà, sono di Napoli e credetemi questo non è niente!!!

comunque,se non sbaglio il succo è che amo moltissimo questo film(assieme a colonna sonora,storia,libro,attori).Vi­vo da quasi un anno in germania e questo film ha avuto un successo straordinario....

Massive Attack is the best band in the last years...

Gomorra is a nice movie, that describes a very sad situation that is deeply inside italian government.

It's sad that in Italy we are getting poor because of this people and politicians...
