There is a lot of true here, many Imperial commanders are like this - but not all.

This fits more for PDF than Imperial Guard, have you read books, comics? REAL Guardsman are well trained are rarely executed, the PDF is totally different thing. They have basic training and go to war only when their home planet is under attack.The Guard is suffering heavy losses, but it is because they are fighting with impossible opponents not because some retard commissar shot man because he is bored!

Actually very few IG commanders would think twice about sending 1 million Guard to their deaths for a measly foot of land. they can afford to, when you have Billions upon billions ( and I don't mean US Billions, I mean real ones) of men you can do what you want with them. Read the books, they aren't even beyond shelling a thousand of their own to stop a few Chaos, or for that matter simply because they don't like them.

I can understand making a video about the imperial guards more inglorious side , but why not show them standing in defiance not just being herded into battle like meat stacks? Second lord castellan creed has a policy of saving as many guardsmen as possible while completing his objectives , so not all imperial commanders are like the stereotype.

oh, come on, you pretty much made this look like star ship troopers, where the commanders almost don't think and just keep sending troops to their deaths, imperial guard commanders are not as brutal as the star ship troopers, yes the commissar maybe harsh by killing those who don't fight hard enough, but there is no other higher officer that does that.

Wise commanders would always try to keep casualties at a minimum.

Tying up a Wraithlord is pretty dumb as it's a good way to lose troops fast. I would already have Sentinels zap it out!

dude the guard is not connon-fodder, we in guard do not rush we shell with artillery the make a line and from that line we start advancing to the enemy with tanks and air support in the rear

I agree with jacksonnll he's right your just showing guard getting slaughtered, to me or him it shows us you really hate the guard and that just makes you a heretic if you play war hammer

I just tried to make a tribute to the Imperial Guard other than other "glorious" ones :] Anyway I don't know how it is in other cases but in *game*, I think their soldiers are somewhat terryfied and cowardous. They hold frontline because they are held by iron hands of their commanders. I don't say they don't use heavy stuff, because they DO use. But faith of a unit in *game* is cannon fodder unless someone use only tanks ^^

1. I try to show the *other* side of Imperial Army, not this glorious one

2. The scene with commisar really fits to that part of music

3. And looks pretty cool :p

4. It is possible that I don't know the *exact* mean of word "tribute"

Man! Fantastic idea!

Especialy at the begginning with those familiar sounds and honest words to introduce the Guard!

I must admit your filmmaking skills as they fit very, very well with clip as overall!

Maybe sometimes the scenes were too long that they didn't synchro with music, but that's not that bad!

The most important thing is that you've created a wonderful and truly Imperial Tribute.

I'm subscribing and waiting for MORE! Keep that on mind.
