@TheLFCDARAGH No offence meant, if you've compiled this video then well done, but the point of it surely is to find out about Billy Liddell. The Jazz, being improvised, detracts the listener from what is being said instead of complimenting it. All I kept thinking while watching was 'what's Jazz got to do with Billy Liddell?'. I know it must be hard to find something suitable from that time, but if people are commenting on it then it must be noticeable, which background music shouldn't be.
@MindTheHeart well if you dont want it you go somewhere else.I used that type of music because it suits the video and it would have been boring with just people talking about him with anything in the backround.It doesn't take anything away from the video,it adds to it and you can still hear the people talking so i dont know what your complaining about tbh
This would have been excellent clip but for the annoying jazz music, which is pointless and detracting from the commentary. A real shame it spoilt it for me. I was so looking forward to learning about Billy Liddell. Otherwise, what I could hear said made him out to be a giant of a man and player.
@EUbeliever please explain to me what it annoying about that music since it suits the video.So you heard he was a giant of a man the quietest part of the commentary but not the rest?
His jersey is in my front room....Scotland v Wales-1951/1952...with the Liver Crest as was the fashion in those days to display the players club team on the international shirt.
He loved his games at the Cottage..
