FEAR 1 is amazing.

FEAR 2 is far less superior. I will even say it sucks.

FEAR 1 is a classic PC game that meets or exceeds all your expections.

FEAR 2 is a console remake of FEAR 1.

FEAR 1 has atmosphere, amazing gameply, great graphics, the lean function, and the ability to save.

FEAR 2 has none of that.

In summation, don't waste your money on FEAR 2, but, good luck finding FEAR 1 in the store that's not over priced.

The graphics are too neat for a horror game. Take silent hill for example. If only it was more detrimental, wasted away scenario, with more regular-joe characters, it would cause a stronger impact.

when did I say anything about graphics? it was a terrible port, it played the best on pc especially with controls and the melee was terrible. You'd kick someone on the console versions and slide right off them like they were a freaking pole or something

yes, the collision detection was terrible, and where i'll agree with you that graphics aren't everything I will say they mean A LOT in a game like far cry 2 which looks amazing on pc, but can't get that close on 360 or ps3. Not to mention for shooters a mouse and keyboard works better. The only thing 360 has over a pc is xbox live. I own all the consoles and a custom pc so i'm not a pc fanboy idiot, i just use what's best

lol. i played doom3 like some Q3 deathmatch...i got surprised with unexpected things maybe 2 or 3 times. And even that wasn't so good :\ it was too linear with stupid creatures popping from dark holes every time in the same way. Fear is so much better

your a soldier that is in the FEAR unit which is a squad that is trained to handle scary shit, so you're on you firt mission and you see weird stuff the liitle girl at the end of the vid is your mom and she tries to kill you so you can be with her ,there are ghosts that you have to kill and this game is shit your pants scary. thats basicaly it, i wont tell you the rest because it a suprise that ou will be in for if u buy the game
