"This video, allows us to see electricity being transformed into mechanics. making the balls move up so they can fall back down and replace itself. To do this, the energy is transformed into a sideways motion by means of a series of simple levies made with wooden discs. You can see that when the ball reaches the top the potential energy is maxed for the ball. This kinetic energy is transferred when it falls down the guide and hits the other ball, pushing it into the beginning of the cycle."
It's kinda like the Panama Canal, it rises and joins with the next level. The previous ball after it has risen all the way falls to the side and sits until it is hit by another ball, putting it back into the cycle again.
¿Puedo tener la transcripción española directa, sin ningún tipo de traducción? Yo no hablo español, pero puedo leer mejor que una traducción hecha por un ordenador. Gracias.
Can I have the Spanish transcription directly, without any translation? I don't speak Spanish, but I can read it better than a translation made by a computer. Thanks.
It would be cool if the ball returned through a tunnel in the 'pistons' instead of running around the outside on a guiderail. Of course, the 'pistons' would have to be taller to accommodate said tunnel.
Pierre: Todo está a la vista, lo único que no se observa es un pequeño motor de 3Vcc extraído de una vieja lectora de CD, el mismo que abre la compuerta. La velocidad de giro la consigues con reducciones de engranajes mecánicos.
It is too good.. Can you please give me some more details how I can build it on my own..?? Can you provide me with the dimensions and speed needed..?? HUGS..
The dimensions, your you can choose them, at the most great is the system greater power must have the electrical motor.
I used a motor of a floodgate of cd player, with the suitable gears I obtained the speed reduced with the increase of power.
Finally he observes that the key is in the conversion of a rotating movement in linear, that I obtained by means of discs placed eccentrically with respect to the out of phase axis and 180° to it
It badly pardons my handling of the language. Towards the left of the image, is hidden an electrical motor, that absorve electrical energy and gives mechanical energy to the axis that visualizes, this rotates to eccentric discs. A hug
Friend: everything can be made. In this single case I looked for to construct a simple electromechanical device that showed well-known physical laws. On the other hand I must aclararte that all electrical motor works by interaction of magnetic fields. A hug
Wow, very nice. Could someone post an english transcript of what he is saying in the video for us uniliterate folks in america-land? Sorry i can't make it all out, i tried....I keep watching it, it looks beautiful, but I'm not sure what I'm seeing without some more information....peace
Friend: What I speak is approximately just like it is written in badly an English obtained with a translator. In he himself video a text exists that you will see in its totality if you press where it says more. A hug.

A stable surface for your camera would make the movie easier and nicer to watch,
but anyhow, looking good :) I like it.

Desde el punto de vista de la finalidad, es verdad.
Aquí hay un motor que provoca un movimiento giratorio que luego de transforma en lineal por medio del sencillo sistema de levas que se observa.

Why turn off the sound? He is explaining the device. If you don't like vids in other languages then why are you on youtube worldwide?

Is your motor powered by a battery ?
What is the power source ?
Many thanks.

Where is the electrical energy transformed into mechanics? Is it rotating the rod holding the wooden posts?
