@Gromkh lol.. the FOV is different. its 80, different to 65, its more further away from the usual FOV, it gives you an illusion of running faster. (I think those are the two numbers from normal to promod)

@TobbenCod i had a amd tri-core 3.2GHz, 4GB ram and a gt 430 and i could manage 125 with a cfg. If you wan't to do codjumping alot though you should get a good enough pc to use 333 fps. I got a quad core 3.4ghz, gtx 460 and 4gb ram and i can get 390 solid..above that it flickers alot, but thats all you need.

Can i get ur cfg that u use then, because i get 250 solid. A while ago i got 333 fps easily because a friend sent me a cfg, but i didnt like the quality on it,So please send me the cfg u use :D And the x6 processor i have is 6 cores which all runs on 3,4 ghz

OC'd all the way to 4.5GHz lovely. but ermmm, yea thats why coz u aint using a cfg xD i just use phantasy's cfg atm!! u can find it on any one of his vids just type in prodragon71 :). I'll be getting my gtx570 classified soon so i shouldnt need a cfg then :D

@TobbenCod lol ok right, you need to learn this... when your playing, and most people (unless they have a good pc) play with a cfg and the graphics don't look good at all. To make a video and make them look good like this you record a demo and play it back afterwards at full graphics with a movie cfg on which gives it nice cc and changes lighting and all sorts of stuff, look into it (Y)

There's a detailed explanation if you scroll down.

In short, the Quake 3 engine calculates Physics every frame. But the speed value is an intiger (no decimals) so it rounds up/down to the closest value. 125FPS gives you a positive round up while most things below that gives you a negative (or you render frames too slow for it to make a significant difference)..

333FPS gives you lots of extra speed.

@supernaturalforces Console is on a Network that requires you to download patches that are uploaded to the Console network otherwise you cannot play.

PC has dedicated servers and patches are released on the Global Internet for free-download. People have the choice to download those patches and put them on their website, or just keep the previous patch running, where people who have not updated aswell can connect. So developers often don't release as many patches for PC. (CoD4 PC is at 1.7)
