Oh goodness i have these i refuse to wear them though they are just well, not good the part of the tap is up past the platform, so i am coloring them for show :D

Were they easy to break in ?

@orangekneepads Not really because of the heel for the tap part isnt very flexible so they were harder than the average pointe shoe to break in

Awsome! I just found out about these shoes and am SO happy somone desided to showe a video demenstration =). Do you have to break into these shoes like regular pointe?

@fujimorimomoyia You do have to break the tap-pointe shoes a little bit and just wearing them breaks them in too but you want to be carefull not to break the heel off though (:

it's the shoes from sansha...it's not the way she's tying it. It's got a lace in the front like sneakers...that's why it looks so weird.

tap-pointe actually come from bollywood back in the days. they went out of style and then apparently, suddenly came back in style again.

Hmm I was not aware that they would make any tapping sounds while en pointe, could just be the tap rattling from impact, anyway work hard and keep up the art, yes its a dance form known as toe tap where tap steps are done en pointe with bent knees its really neat to see if done properly but takes great skill and balance, and looks like I found this also before that one guy.

for more info about toe tap just type it in as a phrase and you tube it there are a few there.
