Very good review! This film is not easily explained,Kurosawa is an amazing director who has a special talent for atmosphere,and location of his films.I have seen a few interviews with him,very interesting guy! Thanks for the review!!

Great review Jason. I have this one in my collection and its definitely a unique film in a tired sub-genre. The director caught the feeling of Lonliness to perfection. I totally agree that it went on for a bit too long. However, having said that, its still a good film! Have a great day!
