True Democracy has a price, and people should pay that price in their own countries by making their own battles and their own future (contradictary to Canada who accepts those who can make changes and then labels them as refugees). Portugal did that same in 1974, peacefully, but a few people died. However, democracy has a price to get, and a cost to keeping it up, and the stealing of national monies will continues... I would suggest moving to a post-democracy, based on referemdums...

i hope war doesnt come but it may if they kill the hostages. please i dnt care if u hate whites or w/e country they are from. we dnt need another world war and more deaths pilling up everyday. please pray that they let them go. i hope cause a nuclear war may start "dought it" but u never know and millions will die plz pray that there is no war plz.

i heard from a newspaper the students were throwing rocks and fire crackers into the courtyard no injuries or deaths and they were chanting "death to britian" and "death to america". war is comeing soon if this continues.

Thats just the bullshit political spin that his people put on the incident. Who knows if its better now then under the shah but it is certainly far from freedom of speech and assembly

If you google Ahmadinejad's writings on the web(yaddashthaye Ahmadinejad), he says when he heard the students protesting it actually filled him with a sense of utter happiness because he realized how people can so freely speak up against the government without being harassed or arrested by the police which was not the case under the shah's regime when he was a student.

Google ahmadinejad, then click where it says Ahmadinejad's personal writings in Farsi (yaddashthaye shakhsiyeh Ahmadinejad). Once you are on that site click under azadi, that is if you can read Farsi, then see for yourself.
