Did you use the taper to insert the plugs, or to give it an extra stretch? I love conch piercings, they will be the next thing I'll do after I got my tongue split!
everyones interpretation of pain is different my friend. Painful? Intense? Heavy? Beautiful? ? Amazing? Deep? F&%# yeah! I found it to be quite the experience. I definately wouldn't describe it as "agonising" I highly suggest you do your research and get both of them done as big as you feel comfortable because they suck to stretch. They are my favorite piercings and I would do them again if I had the chance. Truly moving man. ....
Oh god I had it done and it hurt waaay less than my helix piercings or my nose! I was so shocked and psyching myself up for pain.... that never even came!! I'm so happy with them. Wasn't brave enough t the time to get them bigger than 1.6 though :(
Cheers dude. Yeah I'm finding sleeping fine strangely... not on my rook though - that reeeaallly hurts when its healing. I'm just washing them every day for now, a little salt water to disinfect every so often, to be honest I dont want to hassel them a great deal because they are basically behaving like they're a year old! Very strange, but awesome. Do you have any cunning advice?
lucky for you. I still would try not to sleep on them for that can cause complications with healing. Saline, not salt water. (4 teaspoons sea salt / 1 gallon of distilled water). I found that 2 cleanings a day with this solution was the best. Fill up a coffee cup and soak your ear in it for 10 minutes. After the crusties are softened you can remove them quite easily with qtips without disturbing the piercing. Its nice to warm up the solution a bit before soaking.
I want mine done, What is the piercing called where you stretch the pinna outer part of the ear. Excuse my wording it's the only name i could find for the area.
Thank you. These are my favorite piercings to do lately. Very intense. Very heavy. Do you have your conches?? You should get them if you don't. I highly suggest it. Not sure what you re jealous about.
I have one conch pierced at 12g and I'm going to get another 12g one underneath that, and I'll probably get a 6g punch in my other conch. I don't want to go much bigger than that since I'm a musician and I don't want to mess with my hearing at ALL.
I'm jealous of how your client handled it. I had my helix punched at 4g and though the pain wasn't bad, I'd been very tense and it was really intense, I just started randomly crying a bit when it was over, hehe. I'm not really a wuss, I swear.
this was very nicely done, I healed mine at 8mm with glass too, healed in 6 months. I love mine so much

Congrats! Happy healing your new piercings. Sleeping is kind of a bitch for a bit but you figure it out. How are you caring for your new ears?
